Local image processing
Remove-background, convert, and compress tools are designed to run in your browser. LocalPix has no product API that receives your photo bytes for those tools. Downloading site JavaScript, CSS, and (when configured) model or WASM assets still makes normal requests to our hosting provider.
Cloudflare hosting
Pages and assets are delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP address and request metadata to serve and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for provider details.
Analytics
LocalPix plans to use Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-oriented, cookie-light). This preview release may ship without an active beacon, or with a commented token placeholder in the HTML. When enabled, analytics measure aggregated traffic and do not require advertising cookies. We will update this section when a token is live.
Advertising and Google AdSense
LocalPix plans to show Google AdSense under publisher pub-2467377658764615. This release does not load an AdSense tag or other advertising scripts. It does not set advertising cookies. The disabled google-cmp-slot on each page is the future insertion point for Google’s certified CMP (Funding Choices / Privacy & messaging).
When advertising is enabled, Google and partners may use cookies for personalised and non-personalised ads. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through Google’s certified CMP before applicable ads run.
Consent
Until the CMP flag is enabled, the footer “Privacy choices” link opens this advertising section. After enablement, it will reopen Google’s consent UI. This page is not a consent dialog.
Open-source components
Background removal uses ormbg (Apache-2.0). HEIC support will use libheif-js / libheif (LGPL-3.0) with NOTICE and corresponding source or written offer — see Licenses.
